How to get the MOST out of your email reading

Tips for receiving a POWERFUL email reading

You can co-create your experience, and ensure you leave your reading feeling enlightened and empowered. These tips can help you gain the most insight from your email readings.

Find the Right Reader Readers come in kinds. We have different abilities, methods, philosophies, talents, & utilize different tools. Some are psychic, some are mediums, some specialize in romance or career readings. Shop around. Find out what a reader offers, and decide if that aligns with your needs. Read over their site, check out their "about me," terms, and code of ethics. There you'll find out about their experience, payment and refund policies, the legalities, what kinds of questions they will not answer, and other extremely valuable information.

Ask the Right Question This could be a blog post all it's own (and will be, soon) but we'll go over the basics. Keep in mind that Tarot is about growth,  and real growth requires confronting difficult things, so don't be afraid or embarrassed to ask what you really want to ask.

Be specific with your question- the clearer your question, the clearer your response.

You also want to frame your question in a way that's all about you and honors your personal power. These types of questions invite practical, actionable, empowering answers. There's a lot of advice about how to formulate your questions to achieve that, but your reader can usually help you reword your request to get the most out of it.

If you don't have a specific question that's fine, but it's best to have a topic of interest in mind. What area of your life would you like to know more about? Perhaps you'd like to connect to your spirit. Maybe you just want to how the year ahead will unfold.

And the most important thing... Relax. Be open to receiving the message the Universe has for you. Embrace the exploration. And enjoy the experience!

You've found the Tarot pro you want to work with, asked your question, and you're patiently waiting for their response. Now what? Follow these tips for getting the most out of your reading.

Set the Mood A Tarot reading is special, it's significant, and deserves a mindful approach. Just as I create a quiet, sacred space in which to connect & focus when I consult the cards for you, I HIGHLY recommend you do the same when you receive your reading. Set aside some quiet time to soak up your reading. If the enviroment is noisy & distracting, or you're pressed for time, it'll be much more difficult to appreciate the full message in your reading. Taking a few minutes to yourself to set the mood and connect will help you reap the most benefits from your reading.Take a moment to clear your head and center yourself before diving in. If you desire, you can light a candle or incense, cozy up under your favorite blanket, brew yourself a soothing cup o f tea or comforting cocoa. Whatever it is that puts you in the mood and enhances your personal experience.
Linger You're probably anxious and excited for your answer. It's hard to resist opening that email and gobbling up all the information inside. WAAAIIIT! If you rush, you're doing yourself a true disservice! Take it slowly. Give yourself the opportunity to take in the full meaning and let it all sink in. Look at the images of your cards.
Reflect This is extremely important. Tarot doesn't tell you what to do, it doesn't give you an absolute outcome. Instead, it provides insight & helps guide you. Now that you've had some time to soak it all in, let's mull it over.
What jumped out at you? How can you apply the messages and guidance to your life?  What emotions did the reading evoke? What details did you notice in the card images?
You can grab a notebook to write down your observations and emotions, or print your PDF and add your notes to the margin. Another idea is to meditate on your reading.
Revisit One of the benefits of an email reading is that you can reference it whenever you feel the need to.
